Couto de Sousa

Joana Couto de Sousa joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2023, where she works in the Civil and Labour areas.

Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, she completed her training with an Intensive Course in Banking and Insurance Law.

She began her professional activity in the insurance industry, having held positions of responsibility in the Car Claims Management and Workers' Compensation areas.

Later, she worked as a lawyer in several areas of private law, such as Civil, Employment, Criminal, Family, Minors and Successions, among others.

Of his associative and professional experience, the following stand out:

• Lawyer at the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People at Risk, in Viseu;
• Member of the Viseu Delegation of the Portuguese Bar Association for two terms:
• Member of the Board of Ethics of Coimbra of the Portuguese Bar Association for two terms;
• Organized, in collaboration with other Colleagues, the National Days on Criminal Law in Viseu, in 2010.

She also has certified skills in the area of training.
