Rita Meira joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2024, where she works mainly in the Employment area.

Rita has a law degree from the Faculdade de Direito of the University of Porto and a Master's degree in Law from the Faculdade de Direito of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, having written her master's dissertation on "Conscientious objection and employment contracts".

She began her professional career at Cameirão Advogados Associados, where she initially worked in Civil Law and Credit Recovery. She later joined the Employment department, where she was coordinator between 2020 and 2024.

She has various additional training programmes, including:

• The Whistleblowing Channel and its administrative management, by Citeforma, 2023;
• Personnel management software, by Citeforma, 2023;
• Human Resources - salary processing, by CECOA, 2023;
• Human Resources - recruitment, selection and hiring processes, by Citeforma, 2023;
• Certificate of Pedagogical Competence, by Alameda's Office, 2021;
• Workshop - New General Data Protection Regulation, by Instituto Criap, 2018.

She was also a member of Iuris FDUP Junior - FDUP's Association of Young Jurists and directed the Tribuna Newspaper - the newspaper of the AEFDUP Students' Association.
