Eva Dias Costa joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2023 as Of-Counsel, where she works mainly in the areas of Biomedical and Tax Law.
She holds a PhD in Tax Law from Portucalense University (2015), a Master's (2004) and Juris Doctor (1994) in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University and a Postgraduate degree (1995) from the University of Coimbra. and is always actively pursuing continuous learning.
She conducted post-doctoral studies in Bioethics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and is a member of the Biolaw Department of the International Chair in Bioethics.
She is an Associate Professor at Portucalense University. She is primarily responsible for the Tax Law, Tax Procedure, and European and International Tax Law Curricular Units of the 1st and 2nd cycle of Law Studies.
She is an integrated researcher at the Portucalense Institute for Legal Research, the coordinator of a research group, and is responsible for the Health4All in the 21st Century project.
She has supervised numerous dissertations and theses, participated in multiple scientific events, congresses, and conferences, and has authored dozens of publications in indexed journals, proceedings, and books.
She is an invited external expert of the Directorate-General for Justice of the European Union and has over a decade of experience in arbitration.
As a lawyer, throughout her more than twenty-five years of practice, she has accumulated extensive experience in tax law and related fields such as corporate law, as well as in civil law, and family and inheritance law. More recently, as a result of her post-doctoral studies and research, she has specialised in the emerging field of biomedical law.
