Marta Silva joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in June 2024, where she works in the Labour area.
She has a Law degree from the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Centro Regional do Porto, a postgraduate degree in Labour Law from the same institution and a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from the Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão.
For more than 18 years, she was part of the team of PLMJ's Labour Law, and later of Vieira de Almeida (VdA). She has a great deal of experience in providing legal counsel to national and international clients in countless areas of Labour Law, specifically on issues related to hiring workers, remuneration policies and benefits, management of working time, procedures for employment contracts’ termination, company restructuring, labour audits and labour litigation.
She was a guest lecturer on Business Law on the MBA Atlântico at the Portuguese Catholic University, Porto Regional Center (2014 to 2019) and a speaker/trainer at various conferences/trainings on employment law and human resources management.
