He has a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, a Postgraduate Degree in Economic and Administrative Offenses practice areas. European Criminal Law from the Institute of Economic and European Criminal Law (IDPEE) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and completed the course of the New Regime of Urban Lease by the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto. He also attended the Postgraduate Course in Administrative Sanction Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.

He is also a Visiting Lecturer at the seminar entitled "Of the Judicial Challenge Phase in the General Regime of Administrative Offenses", in the Master in Business Law at Portucalense Infante D. Henrique University.
